Less Than a Year

A year from today you could be a licensed barber. Depending on the location or schedule, our full-time barbering can be completed in as little as 8 to 10.5 months.

An Affordable Education

Be Balanced

Many of our students are busy with life while they’re in school, juggling a family, a career, and side hustles. Don’t let the label “full-time” scare you. Our classes are held only a few days a week, giving you the flexibility you need to be successful in all your endeavors.

The barbering program at Aveda has been very beneficial to my future success as a barber in multiple ways. The one on one contact with live models and guests helps tremendously to identify many different unique hair types and work with them, and is far superior to mannequins. Also the holistic approach to skin care at Aveda enriches any barber experience, especially straight razor shaves. Our educators are always on the run but never too busy to encourage you, and do not deserve enough credit for the work they do to ensure our future success in the Beauty Industry.

/ Prepare for a Future in Barbering

The Be Aveda Institute’s Barbering Program offers educational training in traditional cutting techniques with a modern twist. Be Aveda Institute’s program teaches students the latest in machine cuts, scissor cuts, hair coloring, line-ups, and so much more! Students will learn business management and career development skills to prepare them for their career in the Barbering industry. Students will receive a kit complete with everything needed for a successful start in the industry. After completion of our program, students will sit for the state licensing exam.
