I’ve been seeing pastels everywhere. In all the fashion magazines, store windows, on clothes, and even in makeup looks.
Ever since I was fourteen I’ve been fascinated by hair color. As I’ve begun my career by getting an education here at the Aveda Institute Tallahassee, I’ve decided that I definitely want to be a color specialist. In a few weeks I will be moving into the next phase of my education and in that class we will have to do a color project. At the moment my plan is to create some playful pastels using Aveda Full Spectrum color.
My plan is to use enlightener and bring the hair to a level 10+. Then I know I can use the pastel blonde blonde colors Aveda has, but I think I’m going to go for something more vibrant. I want to use universal 0N and a very small amount of pure pigment.
I’ve seen where some colorists have won awards at NAHA using this method to create beautiful pastels. I really love Aveda’s color line because of your ability to create and customize color. I honestly believe it is the best color line out there and I love that it is naturally derived.
I hope my plan works and I can’t wait to see what can be achieved using Aveda Full Spectrum color.
