“When I decided I wanted to attend to cosmetology school, I really had no idea of what schools were out there, so I googled which one was the best school of cosmetology in Florida. Of course the first search result was Aveda Institute Orlando, and to my surprise, it wasn’t only for Florida but for the US. I still continued to research information of other reputable schools. Since the moment I took to the tour at Aveda, I felt that that was the school for me. What attracted me the most was their professionalism. Aveda doesn’t focus solely on teaching you technical skills but how to grow as a professional. Becoming professional in a elegant way is exactly what I was looking for on my education.
I’m originally from Puerto Rico, I got my bachelor degree in 2010 in Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in hotels and restaurants, graduating with a GPA of 3.56. I have 3 different certifications in customer service as I believe that guest service is a large part of professional success. I had worked in the restaurant industry for over 9 years and 4 of them had been on management. I have 3 beautiful kids that act as my motor every day. My fiance and them were the ones that inspired me in starting this path, that so far had become my passion.”

“I chose Aveda Institute Orlando to pursue my career in massage therapy because of Aveda’s belief in treating ourselves, each other, and the world with care and respect; for their vision in connecting beauty, environment and well-being; for their culture in using naturally derived ingredients in their products. As a Massage therapists my goal is to educate my guest on achieving maximum wellness in their life, and I’m glad to have learned this from Aveda Institute.
I love my life, and I’m grateful for my family. I have 3 beautiful children that keep me busy and a wonderful husband that drives me crazy. I own an upscale barbershop, and I’m a Basketball mom so between the two I stay busy. My hobbies include cleaning, yes cleaning, I am a clean freak. I love cleaning while listening to R&B music.”
