Blog post by cosmetology student: Sara Maples

Year 2011 was a year of some pretty awesome hair, but I think my favorite was Emma Watson’s pixie cut.

It was a bold move on her part to chop it all off since everyone knows her for being a little nerdy wizard in Harry Potter. When she went short, I think she definitely made heads turns.

The cut is super sophisticated and chic. I think it was the perfect haircut for her face shape and features, her stylist did a beautiful job cutting it.

Hermione Granger went from a nerdy frizzy haired little wizard too a very beautiful young woman.
