Create This Look In & Out of the Salon

big hair style tips beauty college Here is a very popular look that comes in the school a ton and I adore it. I’m a huge fan for big, moveable, and volumized hair! Big hair is definitely back.

To achieve this hair cut:
I would first do long round layers in pie sections around the head to create those traveling beautiful layers. Second, I would do long concave in the front to create the strong face frame. Third, I would add a little fringe if that’s what the guest was looking for.

Stying:
Since we are looking for that volumized look, we definitely want to start out with spraying our Pure Abundance Volumizing Style Prep throughout all of the hair to fill in any holes to help our products style out evenly. Your style prep is like your primer makeup for your face!

Second, apply our AMAZING Volumizing Tonic at the new growth of your hair to give it that extra lift in your whole crown area!

Third, apply Pure Abundance Medium Hold Hair Spray throughout all of the hair to give it that movement and hold!

Blow Drying:
I always educate my guest on how to create their look at home so they don’t walk around town saying “yeah, my hair always looks great when I leave but I can’t do it”. So, first you ALWAYS start off by pre-drying 70-80% of your hair and if you’re looking for that volume…you always ways to pre-dry in the opposite direction that your hair would normally fall.

Second, section the hair in horizontal sections starting at the bottom, take your round brush and start giving the hair a curve right away. Keep rolling and unrolling, moving up and down, keeping the hair off the base. After your last roll, roll it all the way to the top and shoot the hair with cold air to set the curl. Hold for 5 seconds, unroll, and BAM! You have those perfect, beautiful, moveable layers! 🙂
