Have you ever just wanted to do hair and style to make people feel beautiful or handsome within a day? Just give them the biggest smile they ever had just because you made them feel the prettiest they’ve ever been? Our AVEDA classes and salon do that people. We learn from our wonderful educators how to do things and do what we love with the largest smile we could possibly make.

The best thing about our classes is that we actually treat our peers as family members, helping them when they need help and learning from each other. At AVEDA, we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility – and we sure do it! We teach our guests the healthy way, the right way, and the best way we can to make them happy with whatever they do not like.

Since I have been at Aveda I have learned so much information already! I have been to another cosmetology school when I was in high school and the knowledge that I have gained just in intro surpasses my other cosmetology school. Some of my favorite techniques that I have learned so far is long layers, highlights and color!

I love hair cutting and coloring! Model days are fun, challenging but rewarding. Just from our model days I have already done, double process going darker and double process going lighter. Both of these processes were challenging but it will make me a better hairstylist when I graduate.

I enjoy many things about Aveda, first is the personal experience you get to have one on one with your instructors. They are always there to explain the smallest challenges in the most in depth details. You can fail many times but they are there until you succeed in every aspect of learning.

Next is the history, this has one of the most interesting line of background and I enjoy learning about the products and how they are brought into the Aveda industry. These things separate Aveda from any other school and that is why I chose to attend it.
